Our plans to restore and convert the former ‘Tatton Arms’ public house, Northenden, have been granted planning approval. The Tatton Arms is a non-designated heritage asset within Northenden, occupying a prominent location on Boat Lane, overlooking the River Mersey. It is situated in the Northenden Conservation area and it is an area of designated Green Belt.
The plans include a full refurbishment of the Tatton Arms and its conversion into 7 apartments with a further 21 flats in the new build two and three storey extension. All existing healthy trees are to be retained as part of a the creation of a dedicated woodland habitat.
The 19th century Tatton Arms pub is a popular local landmark which has stood empty for more than a decade, the approved plans ensure that the building’s future is now secure.
